Yoga for a Healthy Spine
At least 80% of the population will at some time suffer from low back pain. A healthy yoga practice can help you prevent and minimize many pains including those of the back.

Excellent for yoga students and teachers of all levels! Trish excels in making it easy and fun to learn anatomy as it applies to yoga.

This workshop will utilize an interactive lecture with anatomical models and handouts to review the anatomy of the low back and common causes of low back pain. You will also be led through a sequence of asanas with guidance on correct technique to avoid low back problems and poses that will improve the health of your spine.

This workshop is led by Trish Corley, director of New Angle Wellness, PTE. LTD. She is a doctor of physical therapy, a professor offunctional anatomy, and a Baptiste certified yoga teacher. The workshop is open for everyone and yoga teachers will earn 2.5 CEUS for Yoga Alliance.
